A game with a specific name

Big Bass Bonanza is the original title described by Pragmatic Play; later Big Bass games have different modifiers. The PlayOJO campaign covered in our review names this title, not every fishing-themed slot in its lobby.

Scatter trigger

Three, four or five scatters trigger ten, fifteen or twenty free spins respectively. This feature trigger describes ordinary game play, not the separate award of promotional spins.

Wilds and money symbols

During the free-spin feature, wilds collect visible money-symbol values. Every fourth collected wild retriggers ten more spins and increases the relevant multiplier to 2×, then 3× and finally 10× on the third retrigger.

Read both rule sets

The game paytable describes chance outcomes; a casino promotion describes who receives free plays and when they expire. PlayOJO’s selected promotion says winnings have no wagering, but it still names a first-deposit qualification and geographic exclusion.

An example of collection and progression

Worked mechanics example
Imagine that two money symbols show £1 and £2 during the feature. A qualifying fisherman at the initial multiplier collects their £3 total; the same hypothetical combination at 3× would collect £9. The fish values remain inputs to the collection calculation, not an amount credited just because the pictures landed.

Reaching four collected wilds changes the feature counter and adds ten spins. It does not mean that the following spin must contain a fisherman. Likewise, entering with twenty spins instead of ten gives more feature rounds, but it does not predetermine their results or provide a fixed profit.

The separate Big Bass Splash review explains that edition’s additional modifiers. For a casino-awarded promotion, use the PlayOJO review and bonus terms guide to distinguish the offer’s qualifying actions from the game’s own scatter trigger.

Questions, answered

Do four wilds guarantee a feature payout?

They retrigger spins under the described feature, but winnings remain uncertain.

Are promotion spins the same as a scatter win?

No. They are awarded by a casino offer rather than by a game result.

Does a fish value count toward the fourth-wild counter?

No. Money values and collected fisherman wilds serve different purposes: prize collection and feature progression.

Gates of Olympus: tumbling wins and a running feature multiplier

The original Gates of Olympus counts matching symbols across the screen. Its free-spin multiplier can accumulate, so the number printed on one multiplier symbol and the feature total are different values.
